Last week, we were delighted to host our annual Private Markets Summer Party at one of London’s most iconic venues: The View from The Shard.
Set against panoramic 360-degree views of the city, the evening brought together our network of clients, partners, and friends from across the private markets industry for an unforgettable night of connection and conversation.
A Fantastic Evening Together
Despite one of the hottest days of the year, with London in the midst of a summer heatwave, turnout was fantastic, with more than 100 guests joining us for the evening.
We were also pleased to welcome colleagues visiting from Serbia, reflecting the international nature of the it|venture team and the wider community we bring together.
The room quickly filled with energy as conversations flowed throughout the event. From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting new ones, the evening reflected exactly what makes our community so valuable: strong relationships, shared ideas and meaningful connections.
As the sun set over the London skyline, the venue truly came into its own. Guests enjoyed a relaxed and informal atmosphere, complemented by great food, refreshing drinks and exceptional views across the city.

Creating Memorable Moments
Alongside the stunning setting and engaging conversations, we were delighted to introduce a few unique touches to the evening, including live sketches by Sketched by Siena and close-up magic from Maddox Dixon. Together, they created a personal and interactive experience, giving guests something distinctive to remember long after the event.
We were also pleased to hear from Bertie Heyman, CEO of it|venture, who welcomed guests and reflected on the importance of bringing together clients, partners and industry peers in an informal setting.
