Who was the client?
Our client, headquartered in Switzerland, manages assets for a single investor, investing in a wide variety of asset classes focused on alternatives.
What was the issue?
We were asked to provide project assistance for the firm’s move from a legacy eFront product to the latest version of eFront Invest (Ready). So we implemented a wide range of workflows. Including project management, migrating and transforming existing data, and the implementation of all reporting, dashboarding and data warehouse interface development.
The project objectives
Our role in the project was to support and supplement the client’s limited internal resources, working alongside eFront’s in-house team, migrating and transforming existing data successfully. This included:
Project Management
Managing the data migration, dash boarding and data warehouse interface development to minimise the impact of this work on the client.
Automation
Automating a seamless data migration, including the extraction, cleansing, mapping and loading of the data, utilising eFront’s import functionality.
Governance
Verifying the accuracy of the data migration between the new and existing systems, utilising eFront’s calculation engine and our own QA processes.

And an agile reporting architecture has been adopted that facilitates real-time ‘self-serve’ reporting. Without a need for deep, in-house, technical expertise.
