Who was the client?

Our client, headquartered in Switzerland, manages assets for a single investor, investing in a wide variety of asset classes focused on alternatives.

What was the issue?

We were asked to provide project assistance for the firm’s move from a legacy eFront product to the latest version of Front Invest Ready including CRM. So we implemented a wide range of workflows. Including project management, migrating and transforming existing data, and the implementation of all reporting, dashboarding and DWH interface development.

The project objectives

Our role in the project was to support and supplement the client’s limited internal resources, working alongside eFront’s in-house team, migrating and transforning existing data successfully. This included:

Project Management

Managing the data migration, reporting, dash boarding and interface development to minimise the impact of this work on the client.


Automating a seamless data migration, including the extraction, cleansing, mapping and loading of the data, utilising eFront’s import functionality.


Verifying the accuracy of the data migration between the new and existing systems, utilising eFront’s calculation engine and our own QA processes.

The outcomes

Our knowledge of the client’s requirements and unique workflows allowed us to quickly distil and refine the proposed solutions. As well as the workstreams developed by the vendor. Becuase of our relationship with the eFront project team, issues were communicated quickly and accurately, driving successful outcomes.

The project was delivered on time, to budget and addressed all the client core requirements. Ensuring system processes were streamlined to meet the up-to-date operating model of the business. Key stakeholders reported significant operational gain in using the upgraded system. Business users positively adopted the upgraded system. Its successful adoption has ensured data is well maintained by the users who are seeing tangible value from using the system rather than a hinderance.

And an agile reporting architecture has been adopted. So as to facilitate real-time ‘self-serve’ reporting. Without a need for deep technical expertise
