In 2018, DealCloud grew significantly, but they found themselves without the right level of skilled, in-house technical capability. So, they asked us to provide this. Since then, we have provided resources to work directly with the DealCloud implementation teams, delivering over 90 projects across EMEA and the US. Bridgepoint
PE and Credit
We were engaged to assist Bridgepoint with the implementation of the DealCloud platform across their PE and Credit business. Against a very tight implementation timeline our team worked closely with Bridgepoint to define and document the processes and build requirements, then oversee the implementation, testing and data migration process. Our involvement significantly reduced the burden on Bridgepoint’s limited internal capacity, as well as minimising the DealCloud implementation team cost. In addition, it allowed the go-live deadline to be achieved successfully.

The firm had implemented DealCloud without external support, resulting in a platform which was unable to support the needs of the business. it|venture was engaged to lead the reimplementation of the platform across 45 teams and circa 1,500 users, leveraging our vast experience to rebuild the entire data model. We reduced user entry fields by 60%, as well as building new functionality and simplified firm wide reporting that meets the complex needs of this extremely large and diverse business.

Our two-year on-going engagement with Triton has included a phased roll-out of the DealCloud platform to new teams and business units, developing bespoke functionality that pushes the boundaries of what is possible in the platform, while ensuring a consistent data model is maintained. In addition, we have also developed and facilitated integrations with DealCloud and other business systems including Investran and Seismic, while advising on the overall data structure and best practice approach

We were engaged to review the client’s implementation of DealCloud and identify a programme of work to address a series of post implementation failures. So, we leveraged our industry expertise to quickly understand the client’s business and determine that this hadn’t been understood by the vendor team, leading to a poorly built site. Therefor, work to address the shortcomings included the rebuild of core objects, the remapping of data and the roll out of new fit for purpose reporting.

We were engaged to support the client in the pre-go-live site refinement, data migration and testing phase of their DealCloud implementation. Working closely with the client teams our consultants were able to accurately document and test to ensure all required functionality had been provisioned, together with testing and refinement of the data migration exercise performed by DealCloud. Following go-live our team was retained to provide post go-live hyper care support and user training to ease adoption.
DealCloud Service Engagement Models
Project Based Resourcing
Clients that require assistance to deliver a dedicated project, for example the roll-out of new features, the analysis and revision of the site’s data model, the rebuild of existing features or processes, or the on-boarding of new teams.
Following scoping sessions, a documented scope will be agreed with the client and a commercial proposal provided. Once agreed we will provide dedicated project resourcing with the appropriate skillsets to deliver the project working closely with the client’s internal team and business users to ensure success.
Retained Service
Clients that require access to consistent resourcing to provide support and delivery for the DealCloud platform. Typically, our team will supplement the client’s internal capacity to provide best practice advice and technical delivery of any changes that are required.
Resourcing is agreed on a per month basis with time allocated to the client that is utilised over the course of the month on a scheduled basis. Depending on the level of assistance required we can provide everything from full time equivalent resourcing through to one day a week of resourcing.
Ad Hoc Support
Clients that do not have a major project or roadmap to deliver against but require ad-hoc assistance to deliver smaller changes or supplement internal capacity.
You will be assigned an account manager who will coordinate providing ad-hoc access to resourcing as requests are made for support. The account manager will seek to provide access to a consistent pool of resources throughout the project, however we are unable to provide guaranteed access to consistent resourcing under this model. There may therefore be delays in the resource’s ability to deliver against tasks/limitations on the amount of time available/ability to attend meetings without fore-warning and notice.
